Italian Serie C side Crotone officially announces the acquisition of former Levski player Dimitar Kostadinov. The attacking midfielder joins the club on loan from Septemvri Sofia until the end of the season, with a buyout clause included in the agreement between the two parties, which can be activated at the end of this season.
Crotone currently occupies the 4th position in the temporary standings of the Italian Serie C - Group C, trailing the league leader Juve Stabia by just 9 points. The first place in Serie C grants direct promotion to the second tier of Italian football, while the clubs from 2nd to 10th place will compete for promotion through playoffs.
24-year-old Dimitar Kostadinov is a product of Septemvri's youth academy, having previously played for Levski, Neftohimik, and Tsarsko Selo. This season, the attacking midfielder has scored 8 goals in 21 matches for Septemvri in the Second League and the Bulgarian Cup tournament.
