Napoli and Roma will face off in a match from 8th round of Serie A this Saturday at 17:00 UK Time at the Stadio Diego Armando Maradona in Naples.
Ipswich host Nottingham in the first match of the 8th round of the Premier League, with the game taking place on Friday at 20:00 at Portman Road.
Match Preview
Ipswich can be a dangerous opponent for any team in the Premier League, though their performances remain inconsistent. After seven rounds, they sit in tenth place with nine points and a goal difference of 11:15. In their most recent league match,The Tractor Boyssuffered a 2:3 defeat away to Manchester City, having previously secured a 2:1 victory over Fulham. Ipswich’s goal-scoring form is notable: they netted twice against both Fulham and Manchester City, and also scored three times in a 3:2 win against Crystal Palace.
Nottingham Forest are facing significant difficulties early in the season. The visitors currently sit in 19th place with just five points from seven matches and a goal difference of 5:9. They have lost their last three league games - against Arsenal, Crystal Palace, and Coventry, managing to score only once across those fixtures. Despite this poor run, Nottingham have shown they can be dangerous on the road, having beaten Aston Villa 2:1 and drawn 2:2 with Liverpool. These results suggest that the team has the potential to find the net against Ipswich, notwithstanding their recent struggles in the final third
Prediction for Ipswich - Nottingham
I expect an open game, with both teams having opportunities to score. Ipswich have shown they can score goals, but their defense concedes far too many. Nottingham Forest, meanwhile, are in need of points and cannot afford to play purely defensively. Despite the visitors' poor form, their win against Aston Villa and draw with Liverpool demonstrate that they possess potential in the attacking third.
