Napoli and Roma will face off in a match from 8th round of Serie A this Saturday at 17:00 UK Time at the Stadio Diego Armando Maradona in Naples.
Real Madrid hosts RB Leipzig for a match in the third round of the Champions League main phase. The game at the Santiago Bernabéu will take place on Wednesday at 20:00 UK Time.
Match Preview
Real Madrid is in good form, having won their last three matches across all competitions. Last week, José Mourinho’s side scored four goals on two separate occasions - first during a dramatic late comeback against Roma at the Stadio Olimpico, resulting in a 4:3 victory. A few days later, Los Blancos cruised to a 4:1 home win against Sevilla in La Liga, and they will now look to secure another convincing result.
RB Leipzig defeated PSV Eindhoven 1:0 at home last week, but subsequently suffered a heavy 1:6 defeat at the hands of Bayern Munich. Last month, The Red Bulls lost 1:4 away to Como in the Champions League. RB Leipzig has been in very poor form on the road, losing all four of their away matches so far this season. Given the caliber of their opponents, it is highly unlikely that the visitors can hope to take anything away from the upcoming game.
Prediction for Real Madrid - RB Leipzig
Real Madrid has won all six of their home matches this season and is unlikely to show any mercy to the visitors from Leipzig. RB Leipzig began their European campaign with a 4-1 defeat against tournament debutants Como, and they have also lost away matches against Werder Bremen and Bayer Leverkusen. Consequently, anything other than a convincing victory for Real Madrid would come as a surprise to me in this match.
Prediction: Real Madrid -1.5 AH
